Understanding Usage Limits

Sermon Library Capacity

This is the total number of sermons and content items you can upload to HolyQA. This is a cumulative limit that does not reset monthly - it represents your total content library size. Each uploaded item (YouTube video, PDF, audio file, etc.) counts as one sermon.

Sermon Library Planning

Your dashboard shows your current sermon count and remaining capacity. The Sermon Boost add-on (+200 sermons for $25/mo) is available if you need more capacity.

Q&A Credit Limits

Q&A Credits are your monthly interaction allowance. Each AI question or sermon search uses 1 credit. This includes both asking questions (Ask Mode) and searching for relevant sermons by topic (Search Mode). This limit resets on your billing cycle date.

Usage Limit Behavior

Q&A Credits: Soft limit - HolyQA continues working when exceeded, but overage charges apply per additional credit.
Sermon Library: Hard limit - you must upgrade your plan or purchase a Sermon Boost add-on to upload additional content when capacity is reached.

Understanding Overage Charges

When you exceed your monthly Q&A limit, you'll be charged for the extra usage based on your plan's overage rate.

Overage Rates Per Credit:

  • Starter: $0.028 per credit
  • Growth: $0.020 per credit
  • Scale: $0.017 per credit

Cost Example:

  • Scale Plan: 1 credit × $0.017 = $0.017 per additional question

Common Billing Questions

Can I change my billing date?

Billing dates are set when you first subscribe and cannot be changed. Contact support if you need assistance with billing timing.

What happens if I exceed my Q&A limits?

HolyQA continues working normally when you exceed your limit - your congregation won't experience any interruption. You'll simply be charged for the additional usage at your plan's overage rate. You can monitor these charges in real-time in your Billing & Usage tab and set a budget limit to control spending.

What if I exceed my sermon library capacity?

You'll need to upgrade your plan or purchase a Sermon Boost add-on to upload additional content. Sermon library capacity is cumulative and represents your total content library size. Content uploads are blocked when capacity is reached.

What is your refund policy?

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable except as required by law or in cases of service failure. You can request refunds for specific circumstances by contacting support.
